If you have an alcoholic spouse whose drinking is affecting your marriage, then I truly believe you've landed here for a reason.
I am the wife of an alcoholic, so I DEEPLY relate to what you're going through. And even though my husband has been sober for a few years now, I still remember the pain, loneliness, confusion, and fear like it was yesterday.
That's why I created a faith-based program that was written specifically for the wife of an alcoholic by the wife of an alcoholic.
Are you ready to:
When I was in your situation I was DESPERATE for help, but felt like there just wasn't much available.
So God placed it on my heart to create a faith-fueled program to help the women who are right now where I once was.
Married to Addiction is a 30 day online program that is full of the tools, encouragement, and direction that I desperately needed when I was in your shoes.
Unfortunately I learned many of these lessons the hard way by doing so many things wrong, and oftentimes doing more harm than good. I unknowingly did things that hurt myself, that hurt my husband, and that further hurt my marriage. But I didn't know any better at the time.
My hope is to spare you from some of that heartache. I know how it feels to try to carry the weight of it alone. But you don’t have to.
I bet you feel like you've been on the battlefield, don't you?
You're tired. You're sad. You're lonely. You feel defeated, and maybe even hopeless.
You need comfort and healing for your soul first and foremost. So we are going to start there.
You are probably completely fixated on your husband's recovery if he is in the throes of addiction.
But what I didn't know was...and what you might not know is...that YOU need recovery too.....for your body, your mind, and your spirit.
In this module we will talk about some ways that you can begin to heal YOU, and get back to a happier life right now, in spite of your husband's addiction.
I learned SO many things about addiction by taking this involuntary journey with my husband.
In this module we will talk about both things that I learned through my personal experience with my husband, and also through other sources I explored during my walk through addiction with him.
I learned while walking through addiction with my husband that just a few shifts can really change everything, and take you from feeling like you're drowning to feeling empowered.
In this module I will share a few of those practices and strategies with you.
Here you will find additional resources such as organizations, programs, books, etc that will help you greatly as you move forward.
There is also an end of program wrap up in this module.
I tried to handle/manage my husband's addiction and all of the fallout from it by myself, and it was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made.
There is help. There is hope. And I would be honored to play a part in guiding you there.
I hope to see you inside.
In His Grace,
Julie
(*Please note that this program is not meant for those in an abusive relationship. At no time did I feel unsafe in my marriage. If there is even the possibility of any sort of abuse in your situation please get to a safe place first and foremost. In addition, every situation/person/marriage is different so there is no way to guarantee a specific outcome or result from this program. I am not a licensed counselor or therapist. I'm just someone who has lived through the heartache of walking this difficult path with my husband, and then felt that God was calling me to use my experience to help others. This is a faith-based program. Due to the digital nature of this product refunds cannot be processed.)
